first ob appt on the 26th...

My appointment on the 26th went well. I didn't learn anything new. It was basically just to meet the physician's assistant and give all of my medical history. I got to hear Baby Amen's heartbeat, which sounded good, but I won't get another ultrasound until I am 20 weeks. At that ultrasound I will find out the sex of Baby Amen as long as he or she wants to show me. So now that I'm seeing a regular OB, I have an appointment every 4 weeks until the last month of pregnancy, then I'll have an appointment every week. I'm really going to miss not seeing my baby on that monitor every 2 weeks!

Well, I'm home from school today, which is why I am able to update this blog. I was supposed to update last weekend, but I've been so busy with school, it was just impossible to get to it. Lucky me, though...the "March Blizzard of 2007" is allowing me another day away from school tomorrow. That means a 4 day weekend for me! Maybe I can get caught up on some things around the house.

All is going well health wise. The muscles in my lower abdomen feel like they are stretching a lot. I think that Baby Amen is growing and getting stronger. I'm hoping I'll be able to feel him or her moving around soon. I know I'll probably get a little annoyed with all of the moving around and kicking and hiccuping later on in the pregnancy, but right now I can't wait for all of that to start! As soon as I know for sure that I can feel Baby Amen moving around, I'll definitely post something here to document the occasion. :)
