kayah lu is 4 months young...
My baby girl is 4 months old! This past month has been quite busy. You can see that I haven't posted anything since Kayah's baptism on the 24th of November. Well, that following week I was plagued with what I found out to be gall bladder attacks. I missed work for the entire week. Then, the week of December 3rd, I went to work that Monday and Tuesday awaiting surgery on Thursday. Wednesday I was planning on making it to work, but Kayah came down with a touch of RSV, so I had to stay home with her. I made it through surgery, which I was very nervous about, and Kayah made it through her first night away from home without Mommy. I'm so grateful for my parents and my grandparents for taking care of Kayah and I while I was recovering from surgery and Kayah was fighting her sickness. Now here I am on the 14th, on my last day off from work to recover from surgery. Kayah has her 4 month check up and shots (no fun!!) and I have an appointment to have my stitches removed (again...no fun!!). But after both of us have had our ouchies for the day we get to go to Kayah's Christmas party at her daycare. Mrs. Claus will be there to read the kids a story and hand out gifts. It should be very cute! And I am for sure taking pictures of Kayah on Mrs. Claus' lap! I just hope we both are feeling up to a Christmas party after our not so fun doctor's appointments! The party is only about 45 minutes to an hour long, so I think we should be able to handle it. I'll put pictures up of Kayah and Mrs. Claus soon! Until then, I posed Kayah for some black and white Christmas-y pictures that turned out really cute...so here they are...for your holiday enjoyment...

p.s. one year ago today i found out i was pregnant with this beautiful little baby. what a miracle God has created in a matter of one year! because of kayah, my life is even more beautiful that i could have ever imagined it to be. check back to last year's post on december 16th and re-live the excitement of finding out my miracle had just happened! (i still have faith, josh...i'll always have faith.)
